2010 Boat Parade

Congratulations to the Rzotkiewicz Crew and their "Helicopter" for being the 2010 winners at the 5th Annual Lake James Fourth of July Parade. Congratulations also go out to the Hickory Nuts and their "Liberty Belle" paddlewheel boat taking second place. "Never Forget" Twin Towers by Grandpa Yakes and his grand-daughter, Alexandria, took third place. Congratulations also go out to ALL the boats who participated in the parade. You contributed to a GREAT time on our lake and to the parade which has now become a tradition. Changes will be made next year to make it even better.

A special thank you to our judges who took their work very seriously and have already made suggestions for next year. Thank you also to Tom Hayes and his family for "making the popcorn", to the ladies who made the dfelicious desserts and to our face painters. A thank you also goes out to our "unofficial "official photographer" who takes a picture of all the boats as they pass through his canal--thank you, Brian
